The Rock Orchestra Southaven Concert reviews
The worste experience I have ever had.
"I am a big fan of The Rock Orchestra and my kids and I were excited for this concert. The venue instructed us to arrive early and assured us that all bands would perform as planned. I purchased our tickets in advance, reserved a hotel room for the evening, secured a car rental, and bought matching shirts for us all. Upon our arrival at 5, we were surprised to see the line extending all the way around the building. It turned out that one of the trucks carrying the band's equipment had encountered an issue. Consequently, we waited in line for nearly 2 hours, during which the ambulance had to make multiple trips due to people fainting from heat exhaustion. The event organizers continuously delayed the start time, eventually announcing that the gates would open at 7 and the show would begin at 8, with only Mudvayne and The Rock Orchestra performing. We encountered difficulties as they prohibited us from bringing in unsealed water bottles, despite these bottles being sealed when we queued up. The lack of water distribution added to our discomfort. When we finally reached our seats, the stage crew was still preparing the stage, leading to further time adjustments, with Mudvayne taking the stage at 9:20 for a short 30-minute set. The Rock Orchestra followed at 10:20, playing for just 40 minutes. The lead performer attempted to compensate for the shortened performance, for which we were grateful, but the overall experience fell far short of our expectations. With only a fraction of the anticipated showtime, consisting of two bands, the event should have been rescheduled. It was a disappointing and frustrating situation, and I believe a refund is warranted."
